Home minister seeks help of neighbours, foreign foreign friends

Home minster Asaduzzaman Khan on Tuesday sought the help of neighbours and foreign friends following the deadly attack in Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka’s Gulshan area.

“We will accept necessary assistances of neighbours and friend countries in this regard,” he said.

However, he again denied any links of the gunmen to International terrorist organistions.

“All attackers are Bangladeshis and members of different home-grown terrorist organisations and we think the incident is a recapitulation of past attacks,” he said at a press conference at the secretariat.

He called upon the countrymen to form a social movement forgetting the political identities so that no evil force can further derail the country's youth and derail the development.

The minister told newsmen that four pistols, three AK-22 rifles, four IED, one walki talki and one sharp weapon were recovered from the scene.
