Police arrested eight people in the last two days for their alleged involvement in Thursday's Sholakia blast in Kishoreganj where at least four were killed just before the Eid prayers.
Members of the law enforcement agencies have also cordoned the area of the incident.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Dhaka Range Mahfuzul Haque Nuruzzaman said one of the deceased was identified as an attacker. He also had a special chamber in his dress to carry machete.
The attackers failed to enter the Eidgah ground because of tight security, he added.
At least four people, including a woman and two policemen, were killed in the blast near the country's largest Eid congregation at Sholakia.
Police said the blast also left 13 others, including seven policemen, injured.
